How Our Consultation Process Works

We begin by discussing what you've enjoyed reading recently, what didn't work for you, and what you're hoping to find. This isn't a questionnaire—it's a genuine conversation about books and reading.

Based on what we've learned, we'll introduce you to a few books right there in the shop. You can browse, read opening pages, and get a feel for whether something clicks with you.

From your reactions, we refine our understanding and provide a curated list of five to eight books we think you'll love. Each comes with notes about why we've chosen it and what to expect.

After you've started reading, reach out with your thoughts. We'll adjust future recommendations based on what worked and what didn't, continually improving our understanding of your taste.

Service Questions

Absolutely. Pause for up to three months at a time without losing your membership. Just let us know at least a week before your next billing date, and we'll suspend deliveries until you're ready to resume.

Bring it back for an exchange within the month. We'd rather you read something you'll love. Your feedback also helps us refine our understanding of your preferences for future selections.
